A dry slide gives you the height and the thrill of a water slide without the hose, the towels or the wet grass. It is the right call for indoor venues, for cooler months on the Central Coast, and for any event where you do not want a hundred kids soaked twenty minutes into the party. Our classic slide runs tall in bright red, yellow and blue, with high padded side walls the whole way down and a soft landing at the bottom. Kids climb, drop and run straight back around — it moves a long line faster than almost anything else we rent. We are licensed, insured, and an approved vendor at all local parks. With a unit this tall that is not just paperwork — venues want to know who is anchoring it and who is covered if something goes wrong. Luna's Jumps has been answering that question in Santa Barbara County since 1997, and we will provide our certificate of insurance to your school, church or park office whenever they need it. We deliver, set up, anchor and take the slide down at the end of your rental, and it arrives cleaned and inspected. Slides are the tallest units we handle, so we take extra care with anchoring and we will not set one up in conditions we are not comfortable with — that judgment call is part of the service. Before we leave, we show your supervising adult where to stand and how to space the kids on the climb. Height is the first thing to check. Outdoors that means no branches or power lines above the setup area; indoors it means confirming your ceiling clearance before you book, because a gym that looks enormous can still be too low. On the ground you need a flat run long enough for the slide plus the landing, with the exit pointed at open space rather than a wall or a fence. As always, we need power within reach and a path wide enough to bring the unit in.
